Northern Pen Show
The NPS have been long-term supporters of CCP, a trend continued this year. In the photograph you can see CCP's General Manager receiving a cheque for £500 from Elaine Crellin presenting cheque and Alan Lloyd in the background.
The NPS is an international pen show, organised by Alan for the past 9 years, held on 25th April in the Clifton Arms, Lytham. Money came from door money and the raffle of an IMOTO pen.

Keswick to Barrow Walk
Congratulations to the 'Crazy Pacers' team who successfully completed this year's annual Keswick-to-Barrow Charity Walk. Support driver David Ward gave us the lowdown on the day's events:
"Setting off from the start near Keswick at 5:30am, our first walker home, Kenny, crossed the line in just over 12 hours and the last one home, Michelle, came in after just over 15 hours. Seven out of our eight walkers finished the walk this year and everyone suffered to various degrees from blisters etc, some quite badly! With the walkers being well strung out it was difficult keeping up with what each walker was doing, where they were, whether they needed anything, etc. and generally being in the right place at the right time. However, we managed to make sure everyone was looked after and all the walkers agreed that as hard a challenge as it is, they all enjoyed the event but I would say that they would all agree that it was a relief when they made it to the finish!"
A fantastic effort by all involved. The Crazy Pacers were:
Jacqueline Ward, Chris Caldwell, Robert Ward, Kenny (The Terminator) Emerson, Michelle Thompson, Chris Jewitt, Dawn Tomkinson, Howard Mellor.
